AUTHORallows you to create different types of Elements.

The General Element can be used to create any Question Type or Presentation. It is used for Drag Drop and Hot Spot interactions. If none of the pre-defined Element types are appropriate for the kind of Element you need to create, you can use a General Element.

If the trainee should choose one or more options out of several to provide their answer you should create a Multiple choice Element.

If the trainee must choose between True and False to provide their answer you should create a True/False Element.

If the trainee must choose between Yes and No to provide their answer you should create a Yes/No Element.

If you do not want the trainee to provide an answer, but wish merely to provide information you should create an Information Element.  You must add a User Pause at the end on the Information list as there is no Interaction section.

If the trainee must answer with a typed word or phrase you should create a Short Answer Element.
